Fashion in the sky rooftop runway show on 7th March 2010, 4-7pm!=)
Organised by one of my church friend, was roped in to model for 2 outfits from 2 different blogshops.
First outfit was this white dress, second outfit is a black long top paired with leggings from another blogshop.

I sincerely wanna thank all for their support! Those who text their wishes to me , and those who turned up: )
Windez, aaron, chan tong, waine, yvonne! and last but not least, my dearest tong tong dear who was one of the make up artists to contribute to the event too.

Being down with flu on the day itself, further aggravated by the 2 hours of rehearsal under the hot sun and dusty back stage was not easy..
But i overcame it all . =)

It was a different sort of modelling experience for me, because its one by the pool side. haha.
And the audience were so close to us when we walked! i practically saw and heard waine & yvonne cheering for me "Go Lou!!" .

There was so much publicity too, the media, papers, tons of photographers, etc... haha.
Enjoyed the fellowship with common friends, like my choir ic: constance dear and many more. =)

He was praising me for having the paitience & creative-ness & thoughtfulness for hand-making some gifts for the hairstylists who helped me for this show.

25th feb 2010, thursday.

Hang out & lunch with the models after Loreal Spring/Summer collection seminar.

we played a game at Action city and won a prize! =)

we found a beautiful place to camwhore: D

The hairstylists put up my hair for me after the show.

I felt that i suit up hair-dos too. perhaps i can start experimenting them on my own soon!=)

After 3 hair shows with Loreal, Loreal academie' has almost become my 2nd home!=)

To me, he's a Mr nice & supportive. One of the best bosses around,towards us models.

And so far, i have been able to maintain my hair length for all the events we've worked together on. Truly, one of the best outstanding hair stylist/educator i have even known. : )

she was joking that this time round, my heels aren't so high, so she won't look so short as the last show! Lol.

Me & the salon owners who were so nice, and gentle with my hair throughout the prep process!=) And result: one my my fave colours ever dyed & highlighted! -base dye brown, highlights were ash green & light blonde.

Its special because its his inspiration, a combination of 3 colours, so its rare to be seen outside. : )

This is the 3rd hair show/seminar i've done for Loreal Professional.

i can practically explain which product is good for what and memorise the fragrance smell of each. haha.

The nice friendly stylists helped me style my hair after dyeing, highlighting and cutting.

They chose it to match my skin tone: )

she's so blessed! getting married next month: ) and so she shared much about her engineer husband with us. happy for her!=)

A handmade thank you letter for all the 6 stylists who have helped me with my hairdo for this show.=)

All the materials needed to make them, and 1 hour of my time, really wanted to appreciate dylan & his team. : )

after dinner, i watched "percy jackson & the lightning thief" with my cg boys!=)

it was nice but i was quite frightened by some of the action, and my "son", shawn kept laughing at me! lol.

Last friday, me & alicia went to Starbucks to mug for statistics mid term paper!=)

She's good at stats,cause she used to take H2 math. so she doesn't struggle with this module,unlike me. haha.

And she has been working at Starbucks for a year, so we had a discount with her partner card!

She also shared with me that she enjoys running & sports, since her SRJC days whereby the school encouraged them to run. So she's preparing for her next marathon now...

Wow! both of us are rather different! i can never run a marathon man.. lol.

oh, and she shared so much about coffee to me!

Things like...what's expresso shots, how to prepare certain drinks, temperature, blends...etc...

Waine gave me a Dove choc that is so cool, inside the wrapper is a meassage thats positive: )

Anything is possible, once you choose hope! =)
